I lived a normal childhood, far in the Icereach, in a small village. I wasn’t very strong child and my mother Elena took me to the temple and tried to pray for my health when I just turned 12. During the night in the temple I heard a voice. It called me out. Under the bright stars I had made my way to a near lake which the voice was telling me to go. I looked in the water and the lake embraced me to it’s freezing cold hold. I can remember it very clearly. Floating weightless in the water. I didn’t feel anything but I felt everything. I could breathe, but I didn’t need to . My heart beat from the energy that my eyes harvested from the starts above the water. I could say that it was like being born again.
After my mom with the temple clerics came and fished me out they said that I was surprisingly well. Thou my lips were blue from the hypothermia it soon vanished leaving my eyes light blue like the snow under a bright blue sky. I was taken home where I rested for weeks . My mother had spent nights by me and days working. She was exhausted. It kinda felt like her life was passed on to me. She made a joke about it and it made me mad. I took it as if I was just a leech living of my mother. We argued, it got heated and, as I was yelling at my mother. I spew out a bright light that struck my mom. She fell down to the floor lifeless. I ran for help. The villager blamed me from it. They said that I drained the life from my mother. I loved my mother and I couldn’t take their hate and in my rage I started a fire. I spread from the stables and gulfed the whole village.
I was twelve then and now more than 10 years later my life seems like a one big lie that has filled me with anger.
I will take my revenge.
