As a kid she walked on the streets of Palanthas, with the other kids, watching the Knights as they guarded the city.
The other kids always kept saying: "When will you father become a knight" "When will he fail again" "Neas the daughter of Sir Fearghal the Failure", alway laughing with that mean tone that's so common to kids. Thou she didn't say it out loud, but she always kept thinking that: "Atleast my father tried, unlike your parents, the stable boys, carpenders."
Fearghal woke up in the hospital. Covered up in bandages. He had failed again. This time he and his teacher the Sir Domhnall had went to woods to fight hobgoblins. The good willed Sir Domhnall was the one that kept believing in Fearghal and this was the thrid time Domhnall agreed to give Fearghal a trial to become a knight. To become a full pledged squire under Domhnall's study.
When in the woods, two hobgoblins appeared and Fearghal engaged them in a fight. Keeping his own, but like many times before he triped and fell. Causing Sir Domhnall to step in. That's when everything went black.
The nurses told that he had died from severe lacerations. When Neas was 21 she went home one day to see her father. Her mother had left Fearghal after the second failure. When Neas got home there was two knight there that told her that her father had died. He was drunk and started a fight in a inn in Palanthas. Even the knights chuckeld: "That was his last failure".
Neas took what little she had remaining and left.
