hi all,

I got a message in my email a couple of days ago from these forums, it said my account was going inactive and did I want to amend that.

I hadn't thought about DLCO for over a year, thought it was a part of my past and that it was maybe gone, or totally changed and I felt that was the way of things, I had felt for a long time that I had lost my place here and had nothing more to offer.

But when I got that message I came to the forums and saw that so many good players and people had kept things going, had worked the mod to advance its use and to make it better, and still had dedication for DLCO.

I then felt immensely guilty, after years of working on this mod I had walked away and how in the world could I deserve to come back and take part again. Then I remembered what was so great about this community and this server, it is a home for whom ever wishes it, even forgotten old builders.......

I can't tell you how incredible it was to find DLCO thriving, with good responsible staff, forward thinking builders and a player base that remains loyal and friendships that have remained firm.

I hope to be able to get in game and can't wait to be home again.

Well, as I told you; You are one of the creators. Therefore, you could have been gone for two years, and you would be welcome back. Things happen, but we are still here. Glad you are back; and I will also be happy to see you in game.

Good to see you again Samm! Lots of things have changed since you left, but it's still the same server that you put your heart and soul into and it's nice to see that even with the changes to the server, you still feel good about coming here. Hopefully once I get my class and work schedule out of this pool of insanity I'll be able to catch you in game

Don't feel too guilty about being gone, many things in life come in phases, you phased out of dlco/nwn for awhile, and now your slowly getting back into it, for the best I'd hope.
