It has come to my attention that a few players had an issue with things going on in game. Well, I am here to say this.

No one, other than the HDM, which is me; has the right to insinuate that another player is not RP'ing their toon correctly. The debate stemmed from a minotaur character walking around in areas that certain other PC's didnt think they should.

Well, I shall say this for the final time. Zaradene is a neutral town, that welcomes all races, except for the usual uncontrollable races; to sell their items, or use the shops to purchase the wares of the shop. So long as the town laws are observed, and no violence occurs inside the town proper.

The minotaur race by default is a lawful and evil race that acts with honor, that seeks the complete subjugation, if not complete erradication of other races. However, there have been known to be several minotaurs throughout history that were not evil aligned. A PC minotaur is free just as every other PC is, to choose how their toon RP's with another. They may not find acceptance right off, and most likely will be distrusted, and watched, but that is the price for playing that race.

I am going to say this one final time....

I WILL NOT FORCE ANY PC TOON TO RP OR ACT A CERTAIN WAY, UNLESS THAT TOON IS A RACE STRICTLY CONTROLLED BY A HIGHER POWER. I.I DRACONIANS. THE PLAYER IS GRANTED THE RIGHT TO RP THEIR TOON AS THEY SEE FIT, AND UNLESS THEY ACT IN A WAY DETRIMENTAL TO THE WORLD, I.E THE SERVER, NO DM WILL INTERFERE, PERIOD.

To force mannerisms and rp onto a players toon, leaves a bad taste in the players mouth, and will force the player off the server. I do not want that. I am not saying that the PC's have to slow dance with each other, but I am not going to ban a pc race from an area based on the fact that they are of that race. I will let the RP go where it goes.

However, if this is unacceptable, then I propose this. I will force all races to stay where their races dictates them. In other words, the Kagonesti will not be found outside the forrests. The Silvanesti will be all but non existant for the silvanesti by racial status tend to keep to themselves, so they would be found in Silvanesti and Silvamori in Ergoth. The Qualinesti would be found mainly in Qualinost, and if found elsewhere, shunned. Solamnic toons will not be found anywhere other than solamnic lands; and Zaradene will be a faction free zone. Which means the city lord will decide that having ToHS, KoS and DA affiliated persons roaming together inside the town is a bad thing for the town, and ban all faction affiliated toons from the town and adjacent areas. Then we can see how much fun everyone will have.

I will not ruin one players RP for the sake of the feelings of one or two other players personal dislikes. If one player has an issue with another players toon, then it is for you to overcome. However, it is not your toon, and you do not have a say in how the PC toon is RP'd, or how there mindset is.

This post is the direct result of certain things that have gone on IG, but it is not meant for those players alone. It is a server wide post. Recently, there have been alot of player arguments based on RP and actions of one toon or another, that a different player did not agree with. Well if you hadnt guessed by now, I am tired of it and now, pissed off by it. It will stop, or I will start to penalize the guilty. whether the issue is a big one, or a little one.

Every player knows me to be fair, even handed, and quite liberal with situations. I allow alot of things for players to have fun with. But when players begin to argue in party chat about a characters actions, or emotes, or RP because they dont like it; I step in, and this is what comes of it. I let the players run free and do what they want to have fun, so long as it is within reason. But as I said, because one person, whomever it may be; does not like what happened, does not mean it wont happen. Roll with the punches and RP on.

I agree completely and totally with the HDM on this matter. And I feel that whomever disagrees needs to be reminded that we have based the server (In general) off the roleplaying game PnP. All playble character races are and will continue to be welcome to walk freely among neutral areas and territories. End of Story. Period. If you have commentary send them through a PM to either myself or the HDM.

Lastly If I ever find or otherwise discover a player being harrassed by another due to character choice and RP and are threatened or bullied I will personally see to it that the penalty for harrassment is executed in full!!! Any takers? Didnt think so, have a great day
