PostSubject: Report to the army commander   Sat Apr 11, 2009 9:15 pm

This past evening 3 of us were walking around the blackdragon keep and we ran into a group of Solamnia knights. The group quickly engaged us and we were able to defeat them. I reported this while my comrades stayed behind to monitor the situation.

After I reported the first encounter I returned to the area at the ruins. Just outside the keep. We then spotted two more groups assebling at a local farmhouse. After a quick and hard battle we managed to beat the forces gathered in the area.

The forces had achers, clerics and knights, among them few knights of the rose and sword.

After that we retuned to the keep and reported this.

Signed Coyle Eirnin.

*addition to the report*

We are not sure if troops were gathering there for an assault, scouting and espionage or just passing by. Engagement in the battle, though not tactically most rational, was the only way to send a message to the knights about the strenght of the Black wing of the Dragonarmy and that there will be no trespassing on the Queens land.

None was spared, their blood now colors the soil. For the Queen.

Signed,

Adrian and Lily Derinus

Report of the Solamnian movement

On our daily training near the town of Solace and Keep of the Dragonarmy's Black wing today, me, the second lieutenant Lily Derinus and Templar Coyle Eirnin were approached by an un-named red dragon. The dragon warned us of a force gathering in Goodbay, telling us to gather troops quickly and assault the town.

I was hesitant to follow this order as it did not come from my superior nor from a dragon of our own wing. I take the full responsibility of any losts this might have caused.

Once we heard horns of Solace calling, we rushed our way there and were seemingly the first to arrive. An officer informed us of the situation and only possible way to react was for us three to follow a strike force send to hold Solamnian forces back. We reached them at a valley, perfect battlefield for we were severly short handed. While we had less then a company full of men fighting, they had several companies of soldiers, archers, battlepriests and even a silver dragon with them.

Three of us rushed ourway to the front line, trying to hold troops morale as high as possible under the circumstance and I myself confronted the dragon. Battle was long and hard and our troops kept falling to their blades, spells and arrows. By the time their main force was beaten down and we reached the city limits, our forces were gone, leaving just us three facing the last stand of Solamnia on our northern borderlines.

I commanded second lieutenant and Templar to quickly pull back to Solace to reinforce, call more troops and prepare for counter-assault to Goodbay. An officer on duty denyed these troops, leaving us three to face the city with the last standing droops and knights of the measure. Based on the ratio between our loses and theirs I reached the conclusion that we were victorious but did not dare to assault the city with the force of three - victory would have been marginal possibility. I commanded two others remaining to pull back after confronting a knight of rose who presented himself as Lord Knight Eric Markham and reminding him that these are Queens lands.

After this we saw no more forces from Goodbay and decited to return to keep to report the assault. Without direct injunction from you, Highlord or Highmaster, we will prepare a full assault to Goodbay and finaly taking it over. I will no longer stand the possibility of Solamnian invasion to Solace on any given day. It is clear now that Solamnia will not take it's rest and will keep on pushing the war further and thus has to be eliminated.

I wish to intensify the significance of one Templar Coyle Eirnin in this battle. He acted like would be expected from a true battlepriest and defeated many enemy clerics in the use of divine might.

And even more significently this operation would have failed without fierce and competent support from the Second lieutenant Lily Derinus. Her swordhandling killed many Solamnian soldiers and saved my life in many situations. It is my deepest wish for her to be noted as the true champion of this battle. As my mind became hesitant, she was able to give her support to the superior officer as is intented.

The Black Dragonarmy is victorious once again, my Lord.
For the Queen.

Signed,

First lieutenant Adrian Derinus,
501st Company
