EDIT : Some of these entries were written for a former version of the DLCO - Dragonlance Legends-module (which crashed and parts of it are lost :( ). I will rework them, when I find some time. Some remarks have been edited into the posts.

Welcome to this world, traveller!

So, you are new to this place or make it a new beginning. But be warned: Even if you think, that you are tougher than the common people, I will tell you here, that this world – outside of the civilized places – is rough and thus the creatures inhabiting it are quiet tough!

So my advice is to travel in a group. But sometimes, there might not be a chance to do so and thus I collected some informations, that might help you to stay alive.

Let me begin… So, before venturing into the wild, you should spend some time exploring the places near a settlement. As long as you keep within the outskirts, you should be save. Visit at least ten for you unknown places enjoying the sight made by the gods of Krynn. The experience from travelling will strengthen you!

Maybe now, you are eager to test your skills. The bigger settlements, especially those in Solamnia, have sewers. In some of these things were deposed or lost and then forgotten. Since the commoners do not enter the sewers, some of these things may still be there and may aid you in the future.
But beware! The sewers are inhabited by rats. Normally they would not do harm to anybody, unless they are attacked. And I assure you: They can and will bite! If you keep this in mind, you might further your experience her. Since the rats are carriers for all kind of diseases, city-officials probably will not mind, if you help to get rid of some these little beasts.

There are more places, you might visit with your new beginning. Some I did gather here. Maybe more will be added.

Travellers complain about Stirges, which seem to occupy a cave somewhere on the Haven-Solace-route. It is said, that even some ventured into theses caves, but did not return. But I advice you to do some more save travelling to further your strength an experience before you enter these caves! (This was told to me by the traveller JoFour Neleven – for that, I thank you here.)

Also it is rumoured, that the Solace graveyard is haunted! But I would not mess with the dead, unless you feel strong enough, which you are not in the beginning of you travels!

Addition 1:
The areas around Zaradene have been overrun by evil creatures. The locals have difficulties. Unfortunatedly, more experienced people with battleskills are rarely in these parts and thus, every helping hand is needed!

Addition 2:
Nordmaar is a rough place and thus seems to be a good place to get tougher! Tradesmen say, that one is save as long as the traveller stays on the roads. But beyond the roads a vararity of dangers lurk!

Now, traveller, stride out and remember not to underestimate the inhabitants of Krynn. Chemosh is always eager to have guests…

:)

Kah-Tehn Moker came back. He took up a room and his first map. After a day or so, he returned with two new copies and added carvanroutes to them. ... They look a little bit confusing (... are not all Kender a little bit confused?) and they may not be complete...

Remark: The caravan-routes of Zaradene are not on the map!
