Hiya everyone Very Happy Alright you will find that we have afew more areas, Khur for example has been slightly expanded and so has regions outside of Zaradene and Goodbay. Very soon I will have Kortal Keep and Plainsmen Tribal Villages, until then I have areas leading to their outskirts and as fo plains I have added plainsmen as NPCs along with druids.

A few items have been added or altered, you can see for yourselves when you shop around and such. Some of these items are guild only and others arent, even though some items will be sold in guild shops just as they are in other shops and not every shop will have same gear.

Update for July 22, 2009


A special thanks to QM An-Marcach for his excellent work in building areas and fixing things with the mod.

Now, Areas have been added as many know. Nordmaar Region is in, with the town of Jennison. There are ways to get there by boat, as well as by foot.
The Thieves guild has been re-added, and re-keyed for all of those sneaky types that are interested. It is no longer in the Palanthus sewers, so a little exploration, and RP will be needed for membership.
There are several Levels of the Abyss in, with mosters in place for the fun of the unlucky few to go there. It is reachable only by DM intervention, for adventure purposes.
There is a new Red Wing HQ for the armies, after the loss of Pax Tharkas. It is located in the south Haven outskirts.

As many now know, and have discovered first hand, the death scripts are back in. Upon respawn, you will lose 250 XP per character level, and 10% of your Gold piece total. Many will not like this, but I made it clear to all. People no longer feared death, because of the weak penalties enforced. Now there is a reason to fear death. Your items will drop on a lootable corpse after respawn. You will need to run back with the items provided after death, to reclaim your belongings. Hopefully, you didnt fall dead with an unscrupulous sort with you.
As a side note to this, any player caught metagaming by running across six areas to get to the corpse of the fallen, will be booted off the server for one full day, and lose 5 levels of XP. A second offence is a permanent banning from the server. This applies only in a metagame form.

There is a special area added, as An Marcach said in another area of the forums. It's exact location is not disclosed, so as to entice players to explore. This new addition is loaded with goodies for the players to grab, but you must get their first.

For the time being, to give QM An Marcach a breather, and time to build and work on other areas and scripting issues, we are done adding areas. Updates will still take place frequently. But the server as it stands now, is the way it shall remain for some time.

I am looking into changing classes and adding new classes to further Gameplay. It will be some time before they are in, but it is slowly progressing.

OK guys. Many of our players have already noticed this, but here is an update list...

In Zaradene, or I should say; just outside Zaradene town, there is now a merchant. The name of this merchant is Schmeer. She is a half ogre looking thing. She was put in to buy the loot dropped from spawns. Her inventory is empty, and does not sell items unless already given to her. Also she has an inventory cleaning script; so when you are done selling loot and close the inventory; all sold items disappear.
Please sell all loot picked up from dead spawns to her, so we can get rid of the sellers super lag and keep the Zaradene shops clean of foreign inventory.

As well, Eld manor has been redesigned. Those of you whom have been there already know this. The rest of you shall need to find out on your own.

We also have a loot destroyer bag for PC's. Any unwanted items can be destroyed within the bags. Ask a DM for one if you do not have one.

The spawns have been redone as well. Single toons will spawn less, while groups will spawn more. Toons above 15th Level Are no longer allowed to Adventure in the Zaradene road- South Trail. You must proceed passed the area to another section, but please be certain to kill your spawns as you go so a low level toon does not walk in and get spanked by them.

Version 2.8.8

A RP-event last weekend lead to a change for the New Port- (NPC-) settingng. In addition to this a new shippingroute between New Port and Hill Home North has been worked in.


And two technical additions / changes are of importance:

1. We have implemented a "Bag Of Cleaning" for the purpose to get rid of unwanted items in the inventory or loot. NOW, this bag is automatically placed (once) in your inventory upon entering the module. Please use it, to clean up unwanted loot behind you to reduce lags! (Undroppable or plot-items cannot be removed!).

I changed the tag of this bag, so it may happen, that some toons already have such a bag given to them by a DM and the new script adds another one. In this case, please remember, which is the DM-given version and get a DM to remove it.

2. In the Realm Of Mishakal, you will now recieve (if you choose so) an amulet instead of the robe(and a ring). Both items will vanish upon being used. Thus now, no DM is needed to remove these items from your inventory anymore. These items cannot be dropped or sold.

Update notice on upcomming version 2.89!

I'll detail things out in the modul-mechanicssection with time. But here is a quick overview:

- Toons entering with 0 XP will now automatically get the XP for level 3 + some gold (Thanks to Kira for her kicking this off! Wink ).
- Every time you enter the Dwelling, a fresh version of the "Bag Of Cleaning" is placed into your inventory (the old one will be removed). This way, it's easier, if we make changes (like with this version - the weight-issue is resolved). Best is to put the bag into the bottem left of the first invetory-page. This way, it should always be added to the same spot.
- Else, all broken or stubborn transitions, which were reported, are fixed!
- Clerist Towergates are locked again. Special Key is needed to unlock! These doors work different. Will explain in detail, later, but for all, who have the right and the key (passed out by a DM): You have to rightclick the gate and choose lock/unlock from the radial menu. Gates won't auto-shut-lock! Better do it yourself... Twisted Evil
- many cosmetic-issues or little reshapes to fit geographical correctness.
