PostSubject: Starting Area for Newbies   Mon Mar 23, 2009 1:55 pm

Alrighty, I just finished the start of my restoration of the areas and region of Zaradene and followed through to Solace. I would ask that new and older players alike please read the sign posts before entering from the dwelling. It is recommended for new characters whether they be new players or our vetran players, for you newbies the Town Hall is full of bookcases with information of various sorts of our Krynn. lastly, this region is not banned to veteran characters or even epic characters though bear in mind the encounters are meant for starting characters and you may inadvertantly spawn too many for the newbies if you are present. Other than that it does have both overland and a sea route to other places and with it I added the Wharf District to Palanthas Laughing I must stress that while PvP is allowed , the NPCs are extremely weak compared to other factions and our meant for RP and to take care of the odd monster that may follow into town, so please no rampaging through just because you can. Finally it is a non seigable non capturable region it is a neutral territory for roleplay and other events but mainly for new characters, so plaese no opposing factions gunning for control, though any form of adventure event scenario within factions that involve the region without conquest is welcome Very Happy

Always good to know there's actually somewhere safe for the lower levels, they can be pretty darn tough without help, which can be hard to find at some hours.

Just checked the two areas. Took me a while to figure out how to use the ship in Zaradene. I kept looking for a zone line like in Kalaman. Razz

Finally it is a non seigable non capturable region it is a neutral territory for roleplay and other events but mainly for new characters.

To reinforce.

Zaradene is a nuetral territory, not held under the control of any particular group besides it's own militia. All PC's are welcome there, and welcome to engage in Role Play, but this area is not aligned with any of the rest.

The Militia Captian, an NPC, is in charge of the town and it's regulation.

--------

Also to reinforce.

If there is a low level PC trying to level outside of Zaradene, please DO NOT come through the area with your epic level character and create spawns outside their ability to handle.

If you aren't sure, ask if anyone is in the area.
