It is with heavy heart, but open arms that I speak now, that the Temple might continue to grow and flourish in these times of darkness and the tribulations that follow.

Tested by the Forest Master, and charged by the Celestials.. do I then accept the role to provide guidance and illumination for those servants of Mishakal, being all those who have heard the Goddess calling, and for those who will yet hear her voice.

To this end, and for the good of all people's that walk Ansalon, comes the following:

The formost duty of the servants of Mishakal, is to provide healing and care for those persons upon Ansalon. This care is to be provided to those in need, without cost or obligation.

Healing and the Protection of those in need are the principles by which Mishakal guides and leads us. As such, these will be the focus for the clergy. Too long have the clerics for the Lightbringer been more focused on battle and combat, and for this the people have continued to endure and suffer. This will go on no longer. We are servants of the Healing Hand.. and our duty is to heal this world.

Those servants of the Lightbringer are, naturally, expected to defend theirselves and others who are not able, should such a matter be forced. However, they are not to begin or initiate combat.

Rather instead, they are to carry themselves with the respect and dignity expected of those who serve Mishakal. That each person, regardless if they be an ally or enemy, be treated with respect and common courtesy. Each should be offered the course and chance to seek redemption, that they might once more know peace and walk in the light.

The Temple of Mishakal, and the lands about it, are open freely to any and all persons: Undead and Daemons, however, will not be permitted. All may walk freely, so long as they withold and follow a single condition and that is, that they do no harm to others while present.

Clerics and Servants of Mishakal are to walk among the people's of Ansalon, that they bring comfort and hope to those who suffer.

Pilgrimages to the Temple in Xak Tsaroth will begin to be offered to those who seek enlightenment and a means to rally their spirits once more, and servants of Mishakal should be ready to help the people who wish to make this journey, so that all travel in safety.

Servants and Clerics of Mishakal will always be found in their patron's color of sky blue, that they might be recognized by the people.

They will not be permitted the use of edged weapons, even for self defense, only those of a blunt nature. This is done so that if they are forced into combat, they do not take the lives of those who threaten them, simple incapacite them until the danger is passed.


These guidelines will be put in place that the Temple and Faith might grow, and in that.. provide Hope and a way forward for all the people of Krynn.
