Chairman Miow is devastated by the untimely dead of dear, dear friend Archmagus Amberyl Amethystryl. Chairman Miow commands all who ever adventured with Amber to come to Kendermore in two days' time to attend her memorial service, and tell their stories of their great adventures they had with her. Chairman Miow will visit you all PERSONALLY to ensure your attendance. She requests that all atendees wear red in memory of the beloved archmage (white robes and black robes permitted to merely trim with red), and everyone bring their niftiest magic items or memorize their most interesting spells, as at the end of the memorial service everyone shall activate their magics to create the most colorful possible tribute ever. Refreshments shall be served afterward. (Quadruple potency dwarven brandy will be available for the magi who screamed at the description of kender all shooting off magic at once.)

Chairman Miow will welcome those travelling to Kendermore for the service today, if they like, but is postponing the service itself on the advice of Vizzini, who pointed out that as many spells as she has planned at once may damage the buildings of Kendermore. He's taking the time to magically ward all the buildings in a section of Kendermore, and create "safe casting targets" in a perimeter around the area to be used for the service.

Because Amberyl had such a full-- and lengthy-- life, the service will be extended over three days, to allow as many people as possible to come and tell their stories and hear the stories. Each night, there will be a magical tribute. Please invite any bards or chroniclers you know, as we want Amber's memory to live on as much as possible!
